Martin Švehlík

Martin Švehlík was born in 1978. After graduating from the František Křižík Secondary School in Prague, he studied at the transport faculty of the Czech Technical University. In 2015, he finished studying at the Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies at CTU. He worked at the Railway Authority (NSA) as an officer for the special construction department, and at the City of Prague development department as a transport concept expert at the transport engineering atelier. He has worked at Správa Železnic since 2013, first as a system specialist, then as a head of the concept group, and then as the head of the HSR and technological development concept department (HSR = high speed rail). Since January 2021, he has been working as the director of HSR preparation at the department of rail modernisation.
