Daniel Lopour is an experienced project manager in the area of transport and telecommunications. After graduating from the Faculty of Transportation at the Czech Technical University in Prague, he started career as a project manager for electronic data interchange and radio frequency identification at GS1, which provides the most commonly used identification d communication standards in transport and logistics. In 2010 and 2011, he represented the Czech Republic in the expert group of Internet of Things at the European Commission. In addition, he was teaching information technology in logistics in the two-tier EU- USA study program. Since 2012, Daniel is responsible within the European GNSS Agency for managing market development activities regarding global navigation satellite system introduction, mainly in the rail and public transport market segment and acting as project officer of multinational research and development projects.
