Ambassador of Japan Hideo Suzuki was born 24. 2. 1963. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Tokyo and joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan in 1985. He served in various missions as diplomat, including France, the Permanent Mission to the OECD, the United States of America, Vietnam and the Republic of Korea. At the Ministry headquarters, he held the posts of Assistant Minister for International Cooperation as well as Ambassador for Global Issues, in charge of climate change. He has been the Ambassador of Japan to the Czech Republic since September 2020. During his mission, he has been focusing on promoting bilateral relations in the areas of security, energy and intellectual exchanges.
